who we are

Established as The Dodd Studio in 2011, FitFields was later created to serve as the sports consulting division of the company. This assessment of the need for quality athletic facility design proved to be correct as the workload for the FitFields division grew rapidly. FitFields has expanded its work from the Carolinas to a national presence, working at all levels of play, creating meaningful relationships with clients, and delivering high quality athletic facilities. With such growth, The Dodd Studio and FitFields merged as one and the company name officially changed to FitFields in 2024. While The Dodd Studio name is no longer used, FitFields still embraces the company’s roots focusing on athletic facilities, parks, and public spaces.
